Cost of providing Community Home Based HIV and AIDS Services in Uganda

Care for people affected by AIDS necessitate that services are accessible. The government has a major role to play. Kitovu Mobile is challenged with sustaining services amidst the changing global face of HIV&AIDS. The costs for providing services are exorbitant but indispensable. This book which is based on a research study conducted in Uganda gives an insight on the Cost of providing services to people affected by HIV within communities in a rural setting characterized by poverty and limited access to basic services. It contributes invaluable information on the cost of AIDS programs for those who wish to replicate similar models. The role and value of volunteers is well articulated.
