The present treatise incorporates the findings of developing higher-yield potential coupled with salt tolerance capability as well as employing various physiological and biochemical parameters of the selected parents and mode of gene action and adaptability of under poor and rich environments comprising different nutrient and population schedules were studied.The book revealed that biochemical parameters, i.e cholesterol content of cell membrane might play a vital role in ionic regulation under salt stress in cotton.
