This book presents a comprehensive research work on occurrence of seed-borne cowpea viruses in Uganda, the first of its kind in the country. It provides protocol in a simplified language for the use of mordern technologies (ELISA and PCR) for diagnosis of diseases in plants and detection of pathogens causing them. Mr. Amayo is an upcoming research scientist currently working as Research Officer/Plant pathologist with Grain Legume programme at NaSARRI - NARO in Uganda, East Africa. He is also PhD candidate at the Department of Agricultural Sciences University of Helsinki, Finland. Has MSc. in Crop Science and BSc. Agriculture from Makerere University, Uganda.
