Creativity and altered states of consciousness

This paper presents the results of a study of the relationship between creativity, meditation, hypnosis, and functional interhemispheric asymmetry of the human brain. The interaction and connection between functional interhemispheric asymmetry of the brain and phenomena such as meditation, hypnosis, and human creative abilities were investigated. The influence of the profile of lateral organization and altered states of consciousness, in particular meditation and hypnosis, on the human personality and the realization of its creative potential was investigated.
