Nurses are essential to patient care, and critical care nurses play a crucial role in the healthcare system. It has been observed that caring for terminally ill patients and frequently dealing with death in the ICU are some of the most difficult and emotionally draining experiences for these nurses. Addressing their psychological well-being is important to ensure they can continue providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.
