Critical Instrumentation for Flowmeters in FBTR
Details
Nuclear power has been a big area of interest due to its efficiency. Having said that, safety concerns have been a key limiting factor in the adoption of nuclear reactors. In fact, even very developed countries have been considering the shutdown of these reactors. In such a scenario, the industrial community believes that the only way to increase the acceptance of nuclear energy is by building very good safety systems. Contribution from all domains of engineering is essential for developments in safety systems. To pave the way in this direction, a critical measurement system has been developed for sodium flow monitoring in Fast Breeder Reactor. This book describes the design and development of the measuring system which ensures the safety of the reactor. I believe that this book could be a good guide for anyone attempting to use electronics to build next-generation safety systems for any application that requires a faster dynamic response.
