Critical study of Gita Mehta's A River Sutra

'A River Sutra' written by Gita Mehta. She explores the Indian philosophy of life through simple and thought provoking stories which evokes the soul of the reader to assimilate and imbibe the essence of the relationship and the connections between the human beings and the elements of nature. Every character is connected to the river Narmada which is considered holiest of all the rivers. Finally they seek the refuge of the river and get liberated. The river is the protagonist of the story and the reader would completely get convinced with the writer's view point. The elements of nature especially the role played by water teaches us the life's mathematics.
