The Current Issue and Contemporary Social Problem is a book that stresses about the happenings and the consequences of it in the society. The Fifteen chapters book was designed as a learning material which analyzed critically the mechanisms which form the bases of social problems. The chapter one look at the concept of Administration and management and its challenges that reflect and affect the society. From chapter two upwards emphasized the epistemological issues and problems of social problems- the structural effects. The types, causes, consequences of the social problems. The perspectives, dimensions, approaches and theories of social problems have been stressed. The leadership and its negative influences in the society. Others stressed on are:Insecurity, Insurgency, Terrorism, Urbanization, Pollution, Corruption and HIV/AIDS which have contributed to a lot more of negative effects in the society. Some way forward were stressed in a manner the readers and researchers can understand.

Anoruo Adolphus Chukwuemeka es profesor de la Imo State Polytechnics de Umuagwo, Nigeria. Nació en Umuezeala Umunumo Amandugba, en Isu LGA, Estado de Imo. Se graduó con honores en la Universidad Estatal de Enugu, donde obtuvo una licenciatura y un máster en Administración Pública. Tiene otros certificados de posgrado en Educación como NTI, ICAPS(GL), NIM y CIPAN.
