Cytokine production in inflammatory diseases and malignancy of colon

Considering the first chapter of our book, it is mainly a result of the PhD thesis of Marina Jovanovic titled: "Correlation between metabolic syndrome and immune parameters with clinical and pathohistological characteristics of patients with ulcerative colitis". Whereas, the second chapter is the outcome of the PhD thesis of the other author, Milan Jovanovic named: "Colorectal carcinoma: significant concentration of cytokine in serum and faeces for the disease severity evaluation". Furthermore, both chapters are completed with the results of our new, unpublished researches, which are finished in Center for Molecular Medicine and Stem Cell Research; Faculty of Medical Sciences University of Kragujevac, Serbia.
