Dairy Cattle Productivity in Mizan Aman District (SW-Ethiopia)

Study was conducted in Mizan Aman district of Bench-Maji Zone found in south western part of Ethiopia with the aim of assessing the existing practices toward dairy cattle productivity. Though Trypanosomiasis tolerant Sheko cattle breed is found in this district, little attention has been given to assess and analysis the existing method of genetic improvement, feeding, and other management practices towards improving dairy its productivity. Thus, this book outlines research findings in the districts that helps to intervene for the productivity of dairy sector.

Chernet Woyimo is a lecturer and College vice Dean in Mizan-Tepi University (SW-Ethiopia).He obtained is M.Sc from Addis Ababa University and B.Sc from Hawassa University. He has more than 11 years of research and teaching experiences.
