Daku
Details
What if your life seems boring, and someone offers you the chance to have great powers? Will you be careful or go all out with it?
Daku is a small security robot in the Dia-city science museum. Boring as the museum is, he finds himself longing for a more exciting life. His answer arrived as a huge robot robbed the museum, destroying Daku almost completely. If it weren't for the great robot engineer Doctor Vanille, he wouldn't be the heroic fighting machine he is now. So why not read what happens next?
Autorentext
Emilio, or just simple called Pip for international readers, is a comic artist from the east side of switzerland. Inspired by his childhood, such as old 70s anime such as Heidi and Maya the bee, and comics such as Tintin and Spirou, he wanted to make the same kind of classic style of comics. Pip likes to lock himself mentally into a specific time period, to make the comics feel as classic as possible. Such is his prototype comic strip 'the rainbows and cogwheels chronicles', where he mentally put himself in the year of 1935. Or the comics about 'Daku', the flying robot rabbit, where he set his mind in the year of 1965, a time of the space race and rapid rise of computers. To make it even more authentic, he likes to draw in traditional pen and ink on thick cardboard paper.
