Damage Monitoring of Mild Steel Plates with the aid of Ultrasonics

This book presents the fundamentals of Non Destructive Testing with special emphasis on one of the such technique i.e. ultrasonic testing. A detailed study of metallic plates having notch and corrosion defects is done with the aid of Ultrasonics. Moreover a methodology is developed to replace the conventional "Destructive Testing" methods such as tensile testing with "Non Destructive Testing" Technique in engineering.
