Dancing With a Dead Body

This compilation of poems creates an installation of what it means to love, to experience loss, and to grow through the hardships of this lifetime. V.W. has gone through countless shortcomings and series of unfortunate events that had led her back to her writing each and every time. Whether it was the first time she shook hands with sadness himself, or said goodbye to those she cherished close to her soul, V.W.'s writing shows the inner workings of what it means to 'heal' from trauma in her twenties.

V.W. Valentine resides in Iowa, USA. She studied criminology and social work for a short time whilst also focusing on her love and passion for music. A solitary witch, believer in magic and practitioner of tarot, V.W. spends her free time meditating, going on long drives, and getting tattoos. She hopes to one day write for a living.
