Daniel Kennedy (born October 24, 1983) is an American actor, known for his portrayal of Pete Cortlandt on the ABC daytime drama All My Children in 2008 and 2009. Born to Larry and Isabel Kennedy in Tucson, AZ, 1983, Kennedy's interest in acting began during his childhood when he watched the PBS series Masterpiece Theater, and fell in love with British drama. He also developed a love of opera by watching Live from Lincoln Center also on PBS. After winning a trip to New York City, as Arizona's state high school representative in an annual national Shakespeare competition, Kennedy had the unexpected opportunity to tour The Juilliard School. After being accepted, he became the first student in the school's history to major in both drama and vocal arts.
