Data Communication and Computer Networks

This book presents the technical concepts which are the core of design, implementation and research levels of data communication and computer networks in a simple way to develop theoretical concepts with a strong emphasis on numerical problems. The book has been written as per the syllabus of the subject "Data Communication and Computer Networks" of B.Tech Third year of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and various other Universities in India. The entire syllabus of Data Communication and Computer Networks is divided into five chapters starting from introduction to Networks to the present Network security issues. This book also deals with the advanced topics. All the topics are illustrated with clear diagrams and simple language for easy understanding of the concept.

Dr R Jegadeesan received the degree B.E.,M.E., and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai, Tamilnadu. Currently he is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering in Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science, Karimnagar, under JNTUH Hyderabad.
