The purpose of this work is to find out the
possibility of simulating a direct current motor in
order to get a replacement load for the control unit
tests. Therefore several studies are done to find out
the possibility to simulate the reaction of the DC
Motor with the focus on the input voltage and
current. Different Operation Modes were analyzed,
Constant
Load, Variable Load and Controller Unit Operation
(Pulse With Operation). Simulations with MATLAB
SIMULINK and PSPICE should show, how to simulate such
a engine with software tools and how to check the
functionality of hardware models. A step by
step Guide shows, how the Motor Characteristic values
can be determined to get the replacement elements for
the Hardware model. The book is aimed at all those,
which have to create such a model, or interested in
electrical motors and their functionality.
