This edited collection comprises the exemplary contributions of Sebastian Cox Chaparro, Mega Kusuma Wardani, Livia Maria Schleinitz, Sophia Brandenburg, and Luan Johel Gutierrez Araya to the seminar "Business Negotiation" at Ruhr-West University of Applied Sciences in Mülheim. Each paper offers a unique perspective establishing its own understanding of a negotiation scene from a film or series in light of negotiation theory aspects. This book is a tribute to pluralist economics, presenting a variety of topics, approaches, methods, and conclusions to the application of negotiation theory to movies and series.

Dr. Irina Simon studied American Studies and Linguistics at Freie Universität Berlin. She now teaches classes in the department of economics at Ruhr-West University of Applied Sciences in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
