The main goal of this book will be the research of the methodology for critical decision-making problems in smart production management at three levels: strategic, tactical and operational level. In particular, a hybrid autotuning genetic algorithm was developed to solve the portfolio selection and project scheduling problem. At the tactical level, a general methodology is designed for a consensus reaching process supervised by a human facilitator and supported by ICT- based tool. Finally, a hybrid multi-subpopulation genetic algorithm was developed to solve the operation scheduling problem.

Thi-Hoang-Giang Tran and Nhat-To Huynh are lecturers at the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology. The main research interests of Ms. Tran are related to decision making process and system modeling. The research interests of Mr. Huynh are decision making, Genetic Algorithm, Defect detection, Machine learning, etc.
