Delivering Impactful e-Governance For Citizens

e-Governance is one of the prime agenda of governments across the globe. With the proliferation of technology from urban to rural societies, governments are exploring opportunities to reach the un-reached. Government-to-Citizen (G2C) initiatives under e-Governance have a positive direct and indirect impact on the citizens. As enormous resources - monetary, human, and ICT are invested on these projects, it becomes important to seek answers to whether these activities are yielding desired results. The investments, especially in a developing country like India are very important and a failure to deliver the desired results cannot be taken as an option. The increasing expectation level of citizens, demands an increase in the speed at which e-Governance projects should be implemented. These implementations require shorter learning times with safeguards on failures. The research work presented in this book emphasis the need for assessment and the importance of a framework. The book provides rich content for further research to study the micro level issues for a unified e-Governance assessment, and is useful for the government, industry and academia community interested in e-Governance.

With over 33 years of experience in areas of ICT and e-Governance in government and the private sector, he drives his entrepreneurship passion.
