We are creatures of habit, which is why, at a very early age, we all go through a process of socialization. We learn to do things like write our name, or place our arms in a certain way, and we develop habit patterns, called our comfort zone. This consists of the set of effective behaviors that come most naturally to us. Our comfort zone is our social style, a set of interpersonal behaviors that we use most often, and with which we are most comfortable when interacting with others.We form characteristic impressions of other people when we first meet them. From our comfort zone, we judge the behavior of the other person. The judgment will be positive to the extent that the person's behaviors meet our expectations. Judgment will be negative to the extent that the behaviors do not meet our expectations.The general quality is only about the perceived behavior. General quality deals only with what we hear and see. It is not concerned with personal characteristics such as intelligence, values, feelings, abilities or motivation.
