The book examines in detail the fascinating evolution of the history of democratization in India and Pakistan. The appeal of democracy, nevertheless, has persisted. The electoral process has studied which has vital role for establishment of government. The major concern is utilization of financial resources for victory. Media also wants monopoly in electoral politics, have no support for mature democratic system. The most populous region needed a charismatic leadership that promoted democratic norms.
