Dendroclimatology in the Hengduan Mountains, Southwest China

Tree rings has been applied to reconstruct climatic and environmental history during the past centuries to millenium around terrestrial regions of the globe. Using dendroclimatological techniques, this book present a new tree-ring network in the Hengduan Mountains, southwest China. Based on both tree-ring width and maximum latewood density data, regional temperature and drought history was reconstructed during the past centuries in the Hengduan Mountains. This work should be interesting for researchers and students who study paleoclimate, environment science and forest ecology.
