Dennettia tripetala Alkaloid Toxicity

This book describe our work on the toxic doses of alkaloid fractionated from fresh ripe fruit of Dennetia tripetala. Alkaloids are one of the bioactive compound mostly found in different parts of plants, and have been used in the management of various illness. The toxic effect of alkaloid fraction from Dennetia tripetala fresh ripe fruit was assessed on serum lipid profile, haematological and histopathology of the spleen in albino rats in order to established their safe dose.
