the modern high capacity disc drives by accurately
positioning the read write head over a data track,
or by moving the head to alternate data tracks. Disc
drive involves complex and advanced technologies.
This book focuses on the servo mechanical subsystem,
it's design and analysis, for a high capacity disc
drive digital control system design and includes the
overview of the various disc drive components, to
mainly solicit the understandings to how such
components affect the digital servo controller
design requirements, which probably one
of the most advanced application of modern linear
control system theory. Analysis approach presents
proactive resolution for any design issues that
might limit the control system performance.
