Design for All. Volume-II

Expression of gratitude to unknown, unsung, unacknowledged, unnoticed and selfless millions of heroes who have contributed immensely in making our society worth living, their design of comb, kite, fireworks, glass, mirror even thread concept have revolutionized the thought process of human minds and prepared blueprint of future. Modern people may take for granted but it is beyond imagination the hardships and how these innovative ideas could strike their minds. Discovery of fire was possible because of its presence in nature but management of fire through manmade designs was a significant attempt of thinking beyond survival and no doubt this contributed in establishing our supremacy over other living beings. Somewhere in journey of progress we lost the legacy of ancestors in shaping minds of future generations and completely ignored their philosophy and established a society that was beyond their imagination. I picked up such drivers that have contributed in our progress and continue guiding but we failed to recognize its role and functions. Even tears, confusion in designing products was marvelous attempt and design of ladder and many more helped in sustainable, inclusive growth.

Sunil Bhatia is Ph.D. in Quantum Mechanics and has more than three decades of teaching experience, delivered lectures in national and international conferences, editor of international monthly publication of DESIGN FOR ALL since 2006 and has authored published international book "Design For All, Drivers of Design. Volume 1" in 2018 in LAP.
