Designing a compressed air system is based on several item and components that corporate together to achieve the aim of a compressed air system. The aim of the compressed air system is to satisfy the requirnents of the end uses. The end user service air for a polyethylene plant, instrumental air and a breathing air unit. To acheive this aim, a design and selection process took place for each item in the compressed air system plant. According to the calculations and results, each item has been designed and sized according to thier role in the system. The main components of the system are compressors, piping system, pressure vessel, refrigeration unit, desiccant dryer, and breathing air unit.
