The fourth generation of cellular networks will use a new high performance air interface for cellular mobile communication systems called Long Term Evolution (LTE). LTE is the evolution of Mobile Telecommunication System and will considerably increase the capacity and speed of mobile telephone networks by employing several enabling technologies including multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In any wireless device, the performance of radio communications depends on the design of the efficient antennas.

Mr Yanal Shaher AlFaouri has completed his BSc (2007) degree in 'Electrical Engineering' from University of Jordan, MSc (2010) degree in Electrical Engineering' from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, KSA. His research work is based on designing, simulation and when possible experimental verification of antennas for mobile devices.
