Design of Four Slope Solar Still
Details
Solar Distillation plays major role to convert the brackish and salt water into portable water. Because energy crisis plays a major role in the world due to the increased birth rate and decreased death rate which leads to the high consumption and degradation of natural resources. From now the source of fresh water must acquire from great oceans and seas that can be distilled by abundant solar technology to help the future generation to survive from the demand for getting the fresh water resource. The vision of this project is to improve the performance of solar still by in corporation of new design such as square shape. In addition to have design consideration varied water depth, energy storing materials with the slope angle of 200 of the still also taken into account for the improvement in the evaporation and condensation rate of still by experimental study.
