Detachable Small Plates Tools for Toothing High Pitch Gear

As the present paper is interested in the cutting process with tools from the cutters' family, whose main cutting movement is performed as a rotation movement and the feed motion has a perpendicular direction on the cutter's axis, we will present next the geometry of the edges of cutter type tools and their characteristics. Cutters represent that category of tools whose active part, especially the assembly of edges, is oriented on a rotation body and the cutting edges of each edge come into a successive, periodic contact with the component, thus generating elementary surfaces by removing chips.
