Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is one of the major pulse crops grown in Ethiopia. It plays an important role in improving household's income, nutrition and food security. Despite its high production potential in the country, chickpea growers have not been benefit from chickpea production. Therefore, Identifying factors influencing adoption and intensity of adoption and assessing farmers' perception on chickpea technology package are the central issues of the book. This book underlined the importance of institutional support in the areas of extension, farmers' involvement in different social organization and psychological factors to enhance adoption of Agricultural technologies. This book is expected to contribute to the understanding of determinant factors and farmers' perception on adoption of Agricultural technologies. And it will also help to design appropriate and relevant interventions by the agricultural research, extension and other development actors aiming at benefiting the majority of food insecure communities in developing countries.

She has more than seven years experience in teaching, research and development issues. Currently, she is a lecturer at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia.
