Determinants of Enrollment and Dropout Rates among Tribal Children

This book contains literacy levels of Tribals. The literacy rate among Tribals is found to be very low compared to their counterparts living in the plains.There are several problems in the form of dropouts and low enrollment rates in the tribal areas. As such, a study on the problems of enrollment and dropout in tribal areas will be useful for effective policy formulation. Hence, an attempt is made in this book to examine the determinants of enrollment and dropout in the elementary education of Tribals .
