Determinants of Household Energy Choice

The paper entitled as the determinants of household energy choice in Ambo town, Ethiopia. The rigidity of energy demand is high especially in urban areas in recent time due to rapid growth of population and deforestation which contributed to increase in price of energy sources in line with affecting environment and health of the residents. Ambo town is also not free from this problem even though any related analysis was conducted yet regarding unavailability of alternative energy and its effect on households and environment of the town. The objective of the study was to identify the determinants of household energy choice in Ambo town. In order to accomplish the objective of the study, the researcher used both primary and secondary sources of data.
