Determinants of KCSE Examination Performance in SDA Sponsored Schools

Examination is generally being used to sort out students for standard program of discipline and intellectual training to furnish part of the data upon which the school administrator can begin the delicate process of advicing the square pegs head not to lead for round holes, and to dramatize that the continuance of educational opportunity is a privilege bestowed upon the meritorious, hard-working and the energetic. In Kenya, KCSE is used to promote students to Universities, tertiary and other higher institutions of learning based on their performance. As a former Education Director, the author took time to explore the examination determinats so as to assist teachers, students and guardians to improve the academic performance at any National Examination level world-wide.
