Determinants of Transparency at the Departmental Level in Colombia

This research investigates, through a quantitative methodology, the political, economic and socio-demographic factors that explain the levels of transparency in the governorates of Colombia's departments. It attempts to identify whether there is a variation in the Departmental Transparency Index (ITD) over the years and by department, and also seeks to explain the causes of these variations by means of socio-demographic, political and economic variables.
