Determinants of Working Capital In the Jordanian Industrial Firms

This book examines factors that determine working capital requirements of Jordanian industrial corporations. For this purpose, a sample of 52 manufacturing firms from 11 industrial groups that were listed in Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) between the periods 2000-2008 were undertaken. While working capital requirement was used as the dependent variable, various financial and economical factors, such as cash conversion cycle, operating cash flow, leverage, firm size, return on assets, interest rate and real GDP growth rate, were used as the determining factors of working capital management.
