Determination of Physical Parametrs of Drug Levofloxacin

The measurement of density, conductivity, Viscosity, Surface tension and refractive index of aqueous solution of drug, Levofloxacin were carried out with the help of density bottle, conductivity meter, Stalagmometer and Refractometer at various temperatures. It was found that the values of apparent molar volume decrease by increasing temperature from (303 to 333)K.The value of Viscosity increase by increasing the concentrations from (0.0025 to 0.01) mol.dm-1 at all temperature. The increase in viscosity is due to extent of hydrogen bonding. The Rheochor values also increase by increasing the concentration. The Surface tension values increase by increasing the Concentrations from (0.0025 to 0.01) mol.dm-1 at different temperature range from (303 to 333) K. The Parachor values increase by increasing the Concentration from (0.0025 to 0.01) mol.dm-1 at different temperature range from (303 to 333) K. The value of Specific and Molar Conductance increase by increasing the concentration from (0.0025 0.01) mol.dm-1 at all temperature. The Equivalent Conductance value of Levofloxacin was almost same at all temperature at all concentration from 0.0025 0.01 M.
