Determining Influencing Factors of Information Security Culture

This research addresses the people issues affecting information security in library. People will develop their own culture. In term of this research, the information security culture will be highlighted. Also, having information security culture can protect the information assets. Absolutely each organization have their own information security culture that been been practices. More specifically, this research provides the following: a discussion on the current research perspective of information security culture; a discussion on the issues relating to the information security and a discussion on the factors that influence information security culture in organizations. A quantitative research method have been use to assess the information security culture among IT librarian in private college. Pearson correlation test also have been use to test which factors that significantly influence the information security culture also answered the research questions, research objectives and research hypotheses.
