Helical antenna is one of the unique design antenna found by J. D. Kraus where the structure design has winding conductive wire and ground plane. This antenna mostly used in telecommunication and wireless application. The world of telecommunications and technology is growing rapidly as well as discovery and innovation of the helical antenna. Therefore, the application of helical antenna also has been expanded apart of its use in communication purpose. The implementation of this project has produced a material detector using the helical antenna. A normal mode helical antenna is proposed operating at certain frequency and will be used as material detector by analyzing the frequency shifting and return loss, S11 of the antenna towards few different type of semisolid material.

Autorentext

Mohamad Hasrul Abd Manaf (1992) recebeu o seu Diploma em Engenharia Electrónica (Comunicação) na Politeknik Kota Bharu em 2010. Terminou então os seus estudos em Engenharia Electrónica (Design de Telecomunicações) na Faculdade de Tecnologia de Engenharia da Universidade Malásia Perlis, em 2018.
