The 'Art Enrichment Programme' emphasizes that art education in elementary school broadens and enriches the world of children and may offer a major contribution to other aspects of learning. The Programme was used as a strategy to develop the ability of visual spatial perception and it was especially designed for the art curriculum of elementary schools. The 'Art Enrichment Programme' can be of significance for all curricular designers not only those who design art instruction programmes, rather any elementary school principal, teachers and educators of older learners can benefit from the theoretical and functional aspects researched in this research.
