Development of a manually operated multi-purpose roasting machine is a machine which is capable of roasting food items such as maize, plantain and yam depending on the harvest season and the choice of the operator. The developed machine is a simple technology which can be operated by a single person of an average height of 1.4 m. It is easy to construct, operate and maintain.
