Development of a Predictive Model for Maternal Mortality in Nigeria

The book "Development of a Predictive Model for Maternal Mortality in Nigeria Using Data Mining Technique" critically explore the various risk factors responsible for maternal mortality in Nigeria and developed a computer based model that can predict with a very high accuracy the chances of the survival of pregnant women during delivery so as to reduce the high rate of maternal death in Nigeria. The model was built through data mining technique and the Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis Software (WEKA) was used in building the model. The book proved to be a great tool in assisting medical practitioners in Nigeria in their labour to reduce maternal death among pregnant women in the country.
