Comfrey (Symphytum officinale, Linnaeus, 1753) is a perennial herbaceous plant. Herbal medicinal plants manifest their action through various mechanisms of action: antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiseptic and in some cases - anticancer activity In this regard, it seems promising to expand the range of therapeutic drugs for the oral cavity, containing in its composition plant raw materials. Such preparations have low toxicity, have few side effects and allow to use them for a long time, without addiction and negative consequences.
