Development of Mineral Based Industries in YSR District of A.P., India

Modern urbanization, industrialization, transportation and communication systems are the achievements of worldwide sustainable mineral resource development and their proper utilization in various sectors. Sustainable mineral resources have played, and are still playing, a vital role in shaping the modern civilized industrial world. This means that the sustainable socio-economic infrastructure of any country is an indication of its richness in natural resources, its technological know-how, its ability to explore and exploit mineral resources, and, finally, its wisdom in utilizing those resources properly in the development activities of the nation. Specific research studies exclusively on development of select mineral based industries in YSR District of Andhra Pradesh are scanty. In other words, no study on the mineral based companies covering mineral significant districts of Andhra Pradesh has been undertaken. Therefore, an attempt is made in the present research study to examine the issues involved in the development of Mineral Based Industries in YSR District of Andhra Pradesh.

Dr.Siddarapu Haribabu was born on 03/06/1983. He obtained M.Com degree in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He was awarded Ph.D degree in the year 2014 from S.V University and he submitted project report as Post-Doctoral Fellow in 2018. He has Published 15 articles in various journals and he has presented 10 papers in National and International seminars
