The idea of writing this book was conceived when I was supervising the research work of my students. The current book is compilation of development and characterization of fast dissolving tablets of glipizide by using crosspovidone and its kneading mixture, since diabetes is one of the major threats to human health. Oral antidaibetic agents are becoming more popular due to their convenience. Fast dissolving tablet is one of the best options among the oral antidaibetic agents. Since we got excellent fast dissolving tablet of glipizide by using crosspovidone and its kneading mixtures, this book may serve as a valuable source of information for research students who carry out their research in the field of fast dissolving tablets.
