His name originates from diabolus, the Latin word for devil, and his design and actions are a reference to the Y2K Bug. In the dub of the movies that he appeared in, Diaboromon and Infermon are voiced by Paul St. Peter while Kuramon is voiced by Brianne Siddall. However, in the original, each was silent, never saying anything (the closest is when part of an automated message played out on the phones, merely saying "Moshi" (the Japanese equivalent of "Hello" when answering a phone) over and over again). Omitted from the dub of the movies was the digimon's childish nature, because even though it was insanely powerful, it was still a baby in age; the dub serves to make the digimon and all its forms far more sinister with its voice and mannerisms.
