Diagnostic study of the integration of the "climate change" dimension

This study is part of the Third National Communication (TCN) of Senegal in 2014, in accordance with the commitments of the Parties (Annex II) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). These commitments consist of communicating relevant information to achieve the objectives set, such as the sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, mitigation or adaptation measures taken or planned by the State of Senegal to combat climate change at the national level ( 1, Article 4; 1 Article 12 of the UNFCCC). This information is periodically shared during the conferences of the parties. Its production often requires studies to establish a reliable state of affairs, while ensuring that reflection is pushed in the direction of adequate management of the problem of climate change and its impacts in the countries.
