Didier Drogba is a retired Ivorian footballer who played as a striker. He is the all-time top scorer and former captain of the Côte d'Ivoire national team. He is best known for his career with Chelsea, for whom he scored more goals than any other foreign player and is currently the club's fourth all-time top scorer. Drogba was named in Chelsea's Team of the Decade 2010-2020 by Chelsea fans. He has twice been named African Footballer of the Year, winning the award in 2006 and 2009.
