Die Before You Die

We live in a time of dramatic change. Astonishing advances in travel and communications are transforming the ways we can, should, and must relate to one another. Many people have responded to these changes with a forceful return to traditional values and defense against outside influences, often seen as immoral and dangerous. Others have chosen the path of understanding. They seek to know about other religious traditions, not as a road to conversion, but conversation. They view each tradition as a sacred gift from God. Understanding that gift is an opportunity that will help us to better relate to our Creator and ourselves.This book is a tool, crafted to assist the process of interfaith understanding. It provides a theoretical and experiential framework that will aid spiritual professionals, educators and laity, from any faith tradition, to understand the foundational theology of Islam. This is critical step in building a bridge of understanding between Islam and other faith traditions. We can no longer afford to allow the deep misunderstandings between Islam and the Western world to be the cause of war, hate, and political unrest.
