Dielectric study of synthesised ferroelectric materials
Details
Multifunctional materials are currently the mainstay of a number of research projects, which are generally aimed at improving, developing, optimising and, more specifically, making them more functional and cost-effective, while taking into account both economic and environmental constraints. The essential role of scientific research in the field of materials is to understand and establish the composition-structure relationships and properties that can be demonstrated in a material, with the aim of attributing suitable functionalities to them. For this reason, we are faced with a challenge based on improving the method of synthesising a number of ferroelectric materials. These materials are well known for their uses in a number of fields, including ultrasonic transducers, electronic microsystems, IR imaging, high-capacitance capacitors, microwave filters for mobile communications and non-volatile memories. Concrete examples of the use of ferroelectric materials are leading to a significant explosion in research in this area.
