Farnoosh Dairpoosh est née à Téhéran. Elle est titulaire d'une licence en microbiologie et d'une maîtrise en biologie. Elle s'est installée en Allemagne où elle a travaillé sur l'analyse des polyphénols et étudié les propriétés pharmacologiques de cette classe de composés naturels. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en chimie des produits naturels en 2011.
